GOD WITH US IN THE NEW COMING YEAR STAY CLAIM!!!

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21

When an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, he was not only telling him that Mary had not been unfaithful, as he had thought, but that she was the virgin spoken of by the prophet Isaiah: "The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel" (7:14).

That prophecy, given 750 years before, would be fulfilled in Mary. The child she would be carrying is Immanuel: God with us.

What a staggering thought that must have been for Joseph. And what a staggering thought it is for us.

It is really the essence of Christianity. If you took the Christian faith and compared it to all other religious worldviews, this would be the clear distinction: Christianity is "God with us."

Christianity does not require that we try to somehow earn God's approval. The Christian faith teaches that it is God with us, living inside of us, helping us to be the men and women He has called us to be.

Christianity says that we are never alone again. Jesus echoed this same thought when He said, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age". And in Hebrews 13:5, God said,1 will never leave you or forsake you".

Maybe you need to be reminded of this right now. Maybe you are feeling lonely. God is with you. Maybe someone close to you has let you down or disappointed you.

Affirmation: God is with me, therefore, no one can be against me.

Prayer For Darlene Zschech Most Popular Christian Singer

Please join us in prayer for our friend Darlene Zschech one of the most popular Christian singer and her family.

Dearest friends,
We pray you have had a wonderful Christmas thus far.
Mark and I wanted to share with you some news that has touched our family over the last two weeks. On Wednesday, December 11, at a routine mammogram, the doctors discovered that I had developed breast cancer. Since then, it has been a whirlwind of appointments, scans and surgery. Thankfully though, I came home from hospital on Christmas Eve and, with the help of our wonderful team, I was able to watch our HOPE UC Christmas Eve service streamed live into our lounge room.
Even though the past days have been very tough at times, the Holy Spirit has brought me endless comfort and the Word of God is literally holding me moment by moment. My husband and children have been heroic and I can’t thank my family enough for their love and support through this. Our church leadership team have anointed me with oil and prayed with unity and authority, a band of trusted friends have helped me prayerfully and practically, and it is only now that I have felt able to share this with you. To be completely honest, this is not the kind of news anyone ever really wants to tell. However, I have seen two absolute miracles in my body thus far and I know there will be many more to come.
I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You to my surgeon Dr Trevor Currer, the incredible nursing team at the SAN hospital and the Central Coast APAC nursing staff who have extended so much kindness towards me.
Through all of this, my heart is overwhelmed with God’s love and goodness. Psalm 1, Eph 3, Jeremiah 30, Psalm 66:12 … ‘we went through fire, and through water, but YOU brought us out to rich fulfillment’; Psalm 41:1-3 … the list goes on and on and the WORD of God sustains me.
It brings me no end of comfort to know that you will be praying for my swift recovery. Let’s stand together and pray for ALL of those walking through such challenges at this time. Praise God that His name is GREATER than anything we are facing!!!
I DO know that 2014 is going to be AMAZING. I pray you are rested up and refreshed in this season and ready for all that God has planned for us TOGETHER to achieve for His glory! Just keep bringing thanksgiving because this is the entry point to His courts, where our hearts are fuelled and our souls find peace.
Love you dearly, more than you’ll ever know.

Direction! Direction!! Direction!!!

As the year is about to end, have you made appraisal of the year? What direction did you thread this year?  What direction would you
want to thread next year? To what extent did you meet with the year's resolutions? Do you have any directions and vision for next
year?
This and many more questions are waiting for answers, and until you answer them correctly, focus is delineated. Many people are
about to end the year without stock taking in life and they are expecting a turnaround next year.
Before the year ends, take stock spiritually, academically, financially, in business and otherwise. It is when you do this that you
create direction and focus which are covenant strategies for progress.
Keep soaring and be blessed.

DEFINE YOUR DESTINATION

The speed at which you travel in this life is dependent on how well you know your route! Your speech in life will be hampered if you don't know the route to your destination. When you don't know the route to your destination, you will keep stopping on the highways of life to ask for direction which will definitely delay the time of your arrival.

Many people are stranded in life because they are in the middle of nowhere, and the
people they are asking for direction are misdirecting them.  The end result is that they are confused of where to follow.
To move into next year without a clear cut vision will guarantee the replication of this year's achievement. If you don't know where you are going everywhere will look like it. To keep living the same lifestyle and expecting a different result next year is simply an illusion! To change your result you must change your strategy. If you are size plus, what size do you desire next year?

Write it down. Do you want to build a new house next year? Write it down. How much do you want to see in your account next year? Be specific. Write it down. How close do you want to be with God next year? Do you want to read the Bible from cover to cover? Kindly write it down.

Do you want to change your job or rather become an entrepreneur? Write it down. Kindly add other things I did not mention on a clean sheet of paper. For the next few days, spend at least one hour a day to visualize on those things you have written down. Enter into that new house, see your weight loss, and see that money in the account with the eye of your mind. Repeat it many times and believe what you are saying.
Keep soaring and be blessed.

Make This Plastic Container Rose Lamp

To make this lamp first you have to cut the top of a round plastic can. Then pass a cord by making a hole near its base and fix a light bulb. Here if you want you can also use flameless tea lights in it. Then comes the part of gluing roses. To glue the roses you can use hot glue gun and start by gluing in rows lengthwise. see the photos below:

Teaching the Word of God

Teaching the word of God, Mark 6:5 tells us “He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.” Jesus also got tired and slept (4:38), something we would never expect an all-powerful God to do. Yes, Jesus at His first coming had limitations – limitations he placed on himself. This is clearly stated in Philippians 2:5-8:

“... Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage;
rather, He made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!”

In the Mark 6:5 incident, Jesus was in His hometown of Nazareth where they 'took offense at Him' (Mark 6:3). The crowd was so hostile to Him that they even wanted to kill Him (Luke 4:28-30). Jesus was amazed at their lack of faith (Mark 6:6). But there were a few sick people who believed in Him and He healed them (Mark 6:5). If you are bleeding to death and only a blood transfusion can save you but you fiercely reject the only doctor who can provide the transfusion, the doctor can't do anything to save you.

As for the healing of the blind man (8:22-26), couldn't Jesus have healed him immediately? Of course, He could have but He chose to make it a process. Why? Because, Jesus healing of the man is an illustration of how some people come to faith in Jesus. Immediately after this healing we have the passage where Peter confesses Jesus as the Christ (8:27-30). Peter has recognised something of who Jesus really is, but he doesn’t yet see this clearly (like the blind man only seeing partially at the start), since Peter then rebukes Jesus when Jesus says he must die (8:31-32). So this healing is an illustration, not a limitation of Jesus.

If you are still not convinced that Jesus is all-knowing and all-powerful, please read the passages below.

Revelation 1:12-18
I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man, dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday received Globe Soccer Award for the fans favorite player in 2013.
The player was speaking at a Dubai International Sports Conference when he was awarded.
In his speech during the conference, Ronaldo said it won’t be easy for him to record 69 goals like he did in 2013.
“It won’t be easy to repeat what I’ve achieved.
But I will certainly try to break more records because I won’t develop unless I try,” Ronaldo said
“I’ve been developing myself for (almost) six or seven years. I continuously improve and scoring goals is part of the development of my (skills).”
Ronaldo, who is also the Portuguese national team’s captain, commented on his team’s place in the seventh group, along with the U.S., Ghana and Germany, in the upcoming 2014 World Cup.
“Portugal is most likely to be the first one to make it to the second round,” Ronaldo said.
When asked who his favorite player currently is, he jokingly said: “I am my (own) favorite player.”

HEART ATTACKS + HOT WATER

This article is very good. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about Heart Attacks. The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.
For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack...
A serious note about heart attacks - You! should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive…

A cardiologist says if everyone who reads this post shares it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this and Send to a friend. It could save a life... So, please be a true friend and share this article to all your friends you care about.

A Word from Dave…
There has been so much negative and ignorant response to the above list that I felt I needed to respond and teach; that is what teachers do. So to clear up any confusion from others’ blogs and comments about us, we are adding this commentary to this posting. —Dave
Over the last two decades, my company has taught people what the Bible says about money: getting on a plan … in the Bible; getting out of debt … in the Bible; living on less than you make … in the Bible; saving money and thereby building wealth … in the Bible; being generous and remembering God owns it all … in the Bible. We teach living like no one else so that later you can live and GIVE like no one else. Our lessons are about getting your family under control financially so you can take care of your own household first. We also teach the importance of giving no matter where you are in the process, first with tithing and then with extraordinary generosity when you’re able. We have always taught that responsible generosity is the natural walk for a believer. Anyone who has attended our courses or read our work knows this is a fact.
In addition to that, I have railed on things where the poor are oppressed in our culture—things like payday lending, rent-to-own, or our own government-sponsored oppression, the lottery.
Because of this, I am amazed at how many of my brothers and sisters in Christ have attacked us because of a simple list posted on our website. Maybe it shouldn’t amaze me in our Twitter culture—where immature people now study, reflect, research and communicate in only 140 characters—yet it still does. The piece in question is a simple list outlining the habits of the poor versus the habits of the rich. It could just as easily have been a different list of the habits of the obese versus the habits of the physically fit.
What saddens me is that some members of our culture are so doctrinally shallow and so spiritually immature that the reaction was often rude, inappropriate or outright abusive. This reaction is sad because it’s focused only on this one little list, not on our body of work. When you actually bother to look into what we teach, you find generosity and grace taught throughout. This reaction is sad because it’s not even a reflection of what that little list actually says. This reaction is sad because it is a reflection of how politicized, immature and doctrinally ignorant some members of our Christian culture are.
This list simply says your choices cause results. You reap what you sow. Is the research perfect? No. It is a small sample, but it does pass the common-sense smell test. Does this research or the reason for posting it have anything to do with third-world countries? No. Anyone with good walking-around sense can see that this is a first-world discussion. Is this list a way of hating the poor? Seriously? Grow up.
There is a direct correlation between your habits, choices and character in Christ and your propensity to build wealth in non-third-world settings. To dispute that or attribute hate to that statement is immature and ignorant. To assume that our ministry hates the poor is ludicrous and is a reflection more on you than on our work or our beliefs.
Biblically speaking, poverty is caused and perpetuated primarily by some combination of three things:
1. Personal habits, choices and character;
2. Oppression by people taking advantage of the poor;
3. The myriad of problems encountered if born in a third-world economy.
The third-world economy is and should be a whole different discussion. If you are broke or poor in the U.S. or a first-world economy, the only variable in the discussion you can personally control is YOU. You can make better choices and have better results. If you believe that our economy and culture in the U.S. are so broken that making better choices does not produce better results, then you have a problem. At that point your liberal ideology has left the Scriptures and your politics have caused you to become a fatalist.
One of the main reasons our culture has prospered is because of our understanding and application of biblical truths. Bible-believing Christians believe in sowing and reaping—what the world calls cause and effect—as well as in God’s sovereignty and providence. The scientific method you should have learned in seventh-grade science class is based on sowing and reaping (cause and effect). Bible-believing Christians understand God has called us to have an impact, to take dominion, on our environment, and logic follows that our habits, choices and character have consequences and harvests. For over 200 years, that belief system has led to life-changing industry, inventions and a standard of living never known before on this planet. This is not hate; on the contrary, it is love.
My wife and I started our lives with almost nothing, eating off a card table and driving two cars that did not total $2,000 in value. We were broke, but we did not believe that was our destiny. Over the next several years, we grew a real estate fortune, but lost all of that due to bad decisions and choices. And yes, it was all my fault. I was scared, beat up, beat down, and worn out with two small children and a marriage hanging on by a thread. But the Bible doesn’t say I’m a victim; God’s Word says I am a child of the King. So we began the long process of rebuilding our lives twenty-five years ago. God has blessed our efforts and we have done well, and for that I am incredibly grateful and humbled.
Despite these blessings, there are others who have far more than I do. The talents and treasures on this earth are not distributed equally, and that is not fair—or is it? God has chosen to give most of you better hair than me, to make Tiger Woods a better golfer than me, to make Brad Paisley a better guitarist than me, and to make Max Lucado a better writer than me. With God’s grace, I am fine with that. I am not angry at them, and I don’t think they have done something wrong by becoming successful. As I’ve matured, I’ve come to realize that God is indeed fair, but fair does not mean equal.
My team and I are loving teachers who understand that people’s best shot at having a better life is to make better choices, have better habits, and grow their character. Our long track record of helping people shouts what we believe. We love Christ, we love people, and we believe the Bible’s teachings are the answer to the world’s struggles. We will continue to put them forth in the marketplace, and we will fight for our right to do so regardless of whether you agree—or whether you have the capacity to understand. We will do that because we don’t work for our critics; we do our work as unto the Lord, and we won’t stop until He tells us to.

MY PROFOUND WORDS TO EVERY YOUTH/TEENS!!!!

1. Always Define your Friendship with anybody, everybody and even God and decide how to live it out...for you don't necessarily need every dick and harry as a friend.

2. State your Stands and Principles early enough, it must be breathed out of Godly Spirit; and let men know who you're...that way you're not going to be offered peanuts or irrelevances.

3. You can't walk with God, if you're not ready to let God work thoroughly through and in you...for He is the Master builder and finisher.

4. I strongly believe that Everything a man needs are right in the inside of you...Pay strict carefulness to observe and birth forth that instrumental gifting in you...that way you're going to be known as a blessing to your generation.

5. I've always said to young people around me, it’s not really money, fame or best attires you need; but GOD.

These are but a few words of mine that I’ve seen, proven and living by, and if by the mercies of God we try to live by then, we will save our head and heart, much headache, frustration and disappointments.

A THOUGHTFUL GIFT

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world .John 1:29

When you are planning to give a gift to someone, you usually start thinking about it ahead of time. What would this person really want? Then, of course, you start searching for it and saving for it.

It is not something you do at the last minute. If you haven't planned ahead to get a gift for your family yet, you are a poor giver. Maybe you are planning on finding a shopping mall that is open until the last minute.

Maybe you have been working really hard and you haven't had time. But I think if you really love someone, then you will take the time to select a gift for them in advance. This gift God gave to us was not an afterthought.

Long before there was a stable in Bethlehem, long before there was a garden called Eden, long before there was a planet called Earth, a decision was made in the counsels of eternity.

God decided to send His Son to save us from our sins. God knew that Adam would fall. God knew he would cross the line and eat the forbidden fruit and sin, and God knew that as a result, we all become sinners.

That is why the Bible says that Christ was slain from the foundation of the world (see Revelation 13:8).

The all-knowing, ever-present God made the decision long before our actual sin that Jesus would come to this earth, be born, and would live, die, and rise again from the dead to save us from our sins. Oh, how precious is the Gift of Christmas.

Prayer: I bless Your holy name, for You, Father, are thoughtful and so loving.

Scriptural Reading: John 1:29-34

THE SPIRITUAL EMPTINESS

One man that was so in tune with God to the extent that when he went off track, he quickly retraced his step by asking God for mercy was the friend of God, David. When he went off track and felt spiritually empty as it were, he wrote Psalm 51. Let us look at it together:

1 Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.

2 Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.
3 For I recognize my rebellion; it haunts me day and night.
4 Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight. You will be proved right in what you say, and your judgment against me is just.
5 For I was born a sinner- yes, from the moment my mother conceived me.
6 But you desire honesty from the womb , teaching me wisdom even there.
7 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me – now let me rejoice.
9 Don’t keep looking at my sins. Remove the stain of my guilt.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.
11 do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.
13 Then I will teach your ways to rebels, and they will return to you.
14 Forgive me for shedding blood, O God who saves; then I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness.
15 Unseal my lips, O Lord, that my mouth may praise you.
16 You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering.
17 The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.
18 Look with favor on Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit – with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.

Have you ever felt spiritually empty? You know in your heart that you are no more in tune and it is just mere religion that you are portraying? I have felt that way. Like David, its best to quickly get back on track and ask for God’s mercy. A second away from God’s mercy makes one a cheap prey for the devil, he will capitalize on it and make a feast of it.
The year is far spent, most of us didn’t attain the spiritual growth we had planned or envisaged we would because along the line we became empty spiritually. It’s not too early neither is it too late to get back on track. The Holy Spirit is always there to help us put ourselves in check and quickly know when we have strayed. Please don’t condemn yourself any further, embrace God’s mercy today and let the Holy Spirit fill you afresh.
I join my faith with yours, that you will not be spiritually stagnant henceforth, all forms of spiritual emptiness, God’s mercy will be made available for us all. God’s grace is made perfect in our weaknesses. Pick up the pieces and forge ahead. God bless you sisters. I Pray that Lord, help will us to always keep ourselves in check and not stray from following Him. It's only by God’s grace and help of the Holy Spirit we can make it.

These Are 6 Ways To Deal With The Post-Holiday Blues

Feelings of discouragement are common after the holidays. The excitement has faded, the decorations are packed away, and visiting relatives have gone home.

If you find yourself feeling down or restless but you do not have other symptoms of depression, such as difficulty sleeping or sudden change in weight, you may be experiencing what is known as mild depression. In their book New Light on Depression (Zondervan), David B. Biebel, D.Min, and Harold G. Koenig, M.D., offer six self-help strategies to counteract mild depression:
1. Surround yourself with constructive friends.
2. Increase your activities—this will make you feel better and improve your mental outlook.
3. Relax—a new twist on the old adage: "All work and no play makes Jack or Jill depressed."
4. Helping others gives your life purpose and meaning.
5. Journal—this activity provides insight into where you've been, where you are, and where you're going.
6. Praying connects you with God, dispels loneliness and puts your problems in proper perspective.
Biebel and Koenig point out that these tips do not replace professional help for anyone who is more than mildly depressed. If you feel you need help, don't hesitate to seek a professional counselor or therapist.

God Never Goes on Break!

Christmas day itself may have come and gone but most of us are still in holiday mode. I woke up yesterday morning and just lounged in bed till 9am, what bliss! Then after having breakfast and a bit of chit-chat, I was off straight to bed again. I call it luxury time…lol. I’m sure a number of us had some time to rest just as well.

But wait, can you imagine what would happen if God was ever to go on break? Let’s say He decides to rest and says to the angels “I’m not taking any prayer requests today. Please hold all requests till I get back from my well-deserved rest”. What a joke! But there are times we have actually felt God went on a break and left us hanging. We cried, we prayed, we asked and yet we thought there was no answer.

My task is simple today. I’m here to remind us – GOD NEVER HAS A HOLIDAY MODE. He doesn’t go on break and leave His children stranded, not even because of Christmas!

So while in this holiday season dear Friend, do not go on break from God as well. Keep your praise on, keep your prayers up, keep your hope alive, keep your faith active. Because God never goes on break!

P.S: I think it is worthy of note that God has been saying same thing in this season through different people. Someone needs to just defy what is seen and hold on to hope unseen. God never fails.

Shalom

Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Isaiah 49:15 - “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! 16 See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Romans 12:12 - Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer
Prayer: Faithful Father! Thank you for never going on break.

YOU DIDN'T DESERVE THE GIFT BUT GOD GAVE

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Who is on your gift list this Christmas? Usually, we give gifts to family and friends. We want to buy gifts for people we love and people we care about.

We tend to give gifts to those who treat us well, people who are kind and considerate to us. And often we will give gifts in return for gifts that we have received. Some people will even buy gifts for our pets.

However, we generally don't buy gifts for our enemies, do we? We don't give a gift to the person who has slandered us in the past year. We don't give a gift to the irate neighbour who never has a kind word to say.

We don't give a gift to someone who has tried to run us out of business. Nor do we send a gift to the thief who stole the car stereo last month.

But think about this: when God sent Jesus Christ, His Son, and gave us this ultimate gift, He gave it to us while we were still His enemies.

The Bible tells us, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us".

We did nothing whatsoever to merit or deserve this gift. In fact, what we really deserve is judgment, because we all have sinned against God. We all have deliberately crossed that line.

The amazing truth of Christmas is that, in spite of our sins, God sent His Son to save us. In that tiny manger in Bethlehem, He gave us an undeserved gift.

Prayer: I worship You, Father, for giving me such an undeserved gift.
